SAINT IGNATIUS OF ANTIOCH CHURCH IN ST. CATHARINES

St. Ignatius of Antioch Orthodox Church is part of the North American Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese and the Ottawa, Eastern Canada, and Upper New York State Diocese. Founded in 2003, our church primarily conducts services in English, welcoming a diverse congregation. We are a proud part of the Patriarchate of Antioch, where “the disciples were first called Christians” (Acts 11:26). Join us in celebrating our faith and community.

Our father among the saints Ignatius the God-bearer of Antioch was the third bishop of Antioch, after the Apostle Peter and Euodios. ("God-bearer"), was most likely a disciple of both Apostles Peter and John.
